Our Story

How It All Started

It was late at night—another sleepless one. I was working on my Discord server, brainstorming ideas when inspiration struck. I wanted a name that represented those late-night creative bursts, something unique, something that fit.

After searching, I realized no other "Insomnia" branded Discord servers existed. It was perfect. The name stuck, and Insomnia was born.
 

The Mascot: A Sleepy Paradox

At first, I wanted an animal that barely slept, something that embodied restlessness. But surprisingly, I couldn’t find one. Instead, I discovered the Glis Glis dormouse—a creature that sleeps 11 out of 12 months a year. It was the perfect irony. While Insomnia represents being awake and creating, our mascot is a reminder of the sleep we never seem to get.

More than just a name, Insomnia represents:
